Part of the Bella & Duke Raw Basics range, this recipe provides a straightforward and convenient way to feed a complete raw diet. It's suitable for adult dogs and puppies and is formulated to meet FEDIAF nutritional guidelines.

Made with 71% Turkey

Turkey makes up 71% of the recipe, including:

Turkey meat • Tripe • Liver • Kidney • Trachea • Bone

This provides a combination of muscle meat, nutrient-rich offal and bone within one convenient raw meal.

Furthermore, turkey is the only animal protein listed in this recipe, making it a single animal protein option.

Complete & Balanced Raw Dog Food

Unlike complementary raw minces that need to be balanced with other ingredients, Bella & Duke Raw Basics Turkey is formulated as a nutritionally complete meal.

Alongside turkey, the recipe contains seasonal greens and carrots, olive oil, seaweed, chicory pulp, blueberries, algae, beet pulp and minerals.

Therefore, you don't need to add separate meat, bone or offal to make the meal nutritionally complete.

Lower-Fat Raw Food

Bella & Duke Raw Basics Turkey contains 6.24% fat, making it relatively lean compared with many raw recipes.

For comparison within the same Raw Basics range, the published fat levels include Lamb at 9.72% and Duck at 10.29%.

Therefore, Turkey can be a useful choice when you're looking for a complete raw meal with a more moderate fat content.

Feeding Guide

The amount required will depend on your dog's weight, age, activity level and individual needs.

As a general guide, Bella & Duke recommends feeding adult dogs approximately 2–3% of their body weight per day. Puppies generally require a higher percentage, approximately 5–10% depending on age. These amounts should be used as a starting point and adjusted according to your dog's individual condition and requirements.

Always ensure fresh drinking water is available.

Storage & Handling

Keep frozen until required and defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before feeding.

Because the recipe contains raw bone, do not cook Bella & Duke raw food. Bella & Duke specifically advises against cooking its raw meals because cooking changes the consistency of the bone and can make it brittle.

Always follow the storage instructions on the packaging and practise good hygiene when handling raw meat.
